With acid lowering drugs prescribed and popped like tic tacs they must be safe right ? Nothing could be more from the truth.

Back in 2010 the American Food and Drug administration recommend no more than 3x14 day courses of acid lowering drugs per year! Yet some have been on these drugs for years, which can lead to severe reduction in the ability to absorb nutrients like iron, magnesium, calcium, zinc, potassium, folate, b12 and others. According to some alternative GP’s, about 95% of acid lowering drugs are prescribed for the wrong reason. Too much acid, too little acid and food sensitivities can all give the same symptoms. As we make less concentrated acid as we age, the need for acid lowering drugs should diminish with age not go up – that’s just common sense.
